When "nothing shows up" but you're still in pain

You've done all the right things: you got the scans, saw the specialists, asked the questions…and yet you're still in pain.

The results come back: "Everything looks normal." So why doesn’t your body feel normal?

Here’s the truth: imaging can’t always see the full picture.

MRIs and ultrasounds are incredible tools, but they don’t capture everything (especially when it comes to fascia tension, subtle nerve compression, muscle imbalances, or pelvic floor dysfunction).

Your experience is valid, even if it doesn’t show up on a scan. Pain is a complex interaction between tissues, the nervous system, and past experiences.

Just because the structure looks fine doesn’t mean the function is optimal.

Have you ever felt dismissed because your pain didn’t show up “on paper”?

You’re not alone, and it doesn’t mean you’re imagining it. Healing begins when we listen to the body, not just the lab reports.
